VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
We were created in 1979 by two men who were building ponds and two (duec-n-a-halfs).
We are a small fire department located on the west/northwest side of the city Nacogodches, in Nacogdoches County.
We are a part of ESD#4 made up of Lake Nacogdoches VFD, South Nacogdoches VFD, and ourselves.
We service a population of approximately 1700 residents within roughly 29 sq miles.
OUR MISSION
... 40 YEARS LATER... We are a department committed to our citizens. It is the mission of this agency to protect and enhance the quality of life in our community. We do so by servicing our area 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help preserve life and property. Our goal is to be dedicated, working as a team, to reach out and help our community with the proper public education and prevention programs. We respond to MEDICAL, FIRE, RESCUE, AND OTHER DISASTERS.. We are a family, serving your family, through Leadership, Integrity, Dedication, and Tradition.
